GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Hexapeptide) is a peptide hormone from the growth hormone class. The purpose of GHRP-6 is to increase the amount of natural growth hormone production in the body. Increases in growth hormone can be beneficial for anabolism, fat loss, recovery, and overall wellness, as well as serving potential anti-aging purposes.
GHRP-6 may provide performance enhancing benefits, however, it will show much greater benefits when used as part of a long-term anti-aging plan (hormone replacement therapy (HRT)) or in conjunction with other performance enhancing drugs.
Side effects
The side effects of GHRP-6 should be similar, if not identical, to any growth hormone-related peptide or hormone and should in most cases be avoidable or manageable, except in rare cases.
Some users may experience mild irritation at the injected area (injection view). In most cases, moving the injection sites to other areas of the body will resolve the problem.
Some users of growth hormone products may notice a tingling sensation in their hands or feet. This is most commonly associated with high doses and very high doses of growth hormone levels in the body, but can occur even with low to moderate doses in some cases. Most users should find that this fades as use continues, but it may not in some rare cases.
GHRP-6 side effects may include a decent headache in some users due to a sharp drop in blood sugar. Dietary adjustments will often fix the problem, but it is important to remember that fasting use is the only truly beneficial use. GHRP-6 side effects may include gynecomastia in very rare cases due to the peptide possibly increasing prolactin levels.
Administration
GHRP-6 comes in dry powder form and will require mixing with bacteriostatic water. GHRP-6 must be kept refrigerated after mixing. GHRP-6 will lose potency in less than four weeks after mixing.
GHRP-6 injections can be administered intramuscularly (into the muscle) or subcutaneously (under the skin).
Doses should be administered daily at a minimum, with 2-3 doses being much more optimal. Total daily doses can range from 50-500 mcg per injection depending on individual needs. If another growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) is used, such as Mod GRF 1-29, the total amount of GHRP-6 needed will be reduced with an optimal range of 50-150 mcg per dose.
GHRP-6 should be administered when blood sugar levels are low. Food should not be consumed for 30 to 60 minutes after administering GHRP-6.
