Somatotropin, also called growth hormone, is a peptide hormone. Its name comes from the Greek soma-body and tropi-growth. It is responsible for bone growth as well as protein and carbohydrate metabolism in the body. It is separated from the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland (adenohypophysis).
Its effect is expressed in an increase in the exchange of substances in cells and especially in protein synthesis. With the release of smaller amounts (hyposecretion) of this hormone, children’s growth lags behind. Dwarfs are developed who are of normal mental capacity and have symmetrical bodies. Hyperfunction in children leads to gigantism. Individuals are very tall (230-250 cm). When the increase in hormone secretion occurs for the first time after the end of the growth period, a disease called acromegaly develops. It is most often due to a pituitary tumor. It is expressed in thickening of the short bones of the body, growth of some of the organs (tongue, liver) and disturbances in vision.
If the disease manifests itself at a late age when bone growth has ended, the disease acromegaly appears. With it, the bones of the skull and limbs grow, the tongue also grows and becomes abnormally large.
The use of growth hormone in bodybuilding circles has been a widespread phenomenon for the last 20 years, and recently also in Bulgaria. It’s an open secret that high net worth individuals put on somatropin because a few units a day reverses the aging process and rejuvenates skin, hair with visible effects from the first few days with Pfizer.
Side effects of Genotropin / Genotropin

The only ones are that its price is too high, not only for the Bulgarian standard, and one course for a month costs about BGN 1,500 – for normal use by non-athletes, and if it is applied for the purpose of competitive training – then the price can exceed BGN 3,000.
Desired effects of Genotropin / Genotropin
The effects that are observed can be noticed and felt immediately, even after the first few days, but if you are aiming for serious transformations such as clearing fat (weight loss), tightening the skin and returning the normal hair color if you have grayed, then it is necessary to put the hormone for a long enough time – this means a minimum of 2-5 months.
Height growth with Genotropin / Genotropin
If you have heard of one and are wondering if growth hormone can increase your height – the answer is a resounding yes! With known details, which are several. The first is that the growth hormone must be given in much higher doses, and this carries certain risks. A longer period of admission, we are talking about more than 16 months, minimum.
The side effects if this drug is overdosed are extremely unpleasant and dangerous. One is that your genotype changes, serious hair loss is possible, much more so than testosterone-like anabolic androgenic steroids. Skulls, penises and some internal organs are transformed into huge ones, which for some is an advantage, while others find it an undesirable result. The dose here is also one of the most important things about taking Genotropin.
